2. Service

Brrrup is an alarm clock that keeps ringing until you complete a task (mission). It uses the iOS alarm system for this. Minors need their parents' consent for purchases.

Please note: An alarm only rings if your iPhone is switched on, has enough battery and you have allowed the app to set alarms. The app cannot make up for an iOS error, an empty battery or a switched-off device. For appointments where oversleeping would have serious consequences, set a second alarm as well. The emergency exit lets you end any mission; there is no guarantee that you will get up.

The "Walk", "Place scan" and "Photo hunt" missions require you to move around. Only do them when it is safe for you, and take care in the dark.

We keep developing the app; its scope may change with updates. Core features included in an active subscription will not be removed without replacement.

3. Free version, Pro and subscriptions

4. License

You receive a simple, non-transferable right to use the app for private purposes. Sounds, images and texts of the app may not be extracted, published or resold. You may share your streak image for private purposes.

5. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. In cases of slight negligence, we are only liable for breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Within the limits of sentence 2, we are not liable for the consequences of an alarm that does not ring because the device is switched off, the battery is empty, permission was withdrawn or iOS fails. Liability under product liability law remains unaffected.

6. Apple

Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) also applies: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app or its content.

7. Final provisions

German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you have your habitual residence remain unaffected. We do not take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
